Raghav is a corporate lawyer possessing 12 years of demonstrated work experience representing domestic and cross - border clients and law firms. He has been awarded the 'Faculty Graduate Scholarship' from National University of Singapore (NUS) for Master of Laws (LL.M.) specializing in Corporate and Financial Services Law (CFS).
Raghav possesses a proven track record in drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial agreements and M&A transactions demonstrated while working for a tier-I law firm. He has actively advised tech-companies and start-ups on commercial dispute resolution strategies. Raghav is qualified to a 'Common Law Jurisdiction' Bar since 2011.

Raghav's core areas of practice include general corporate, mergers and acquisitions and commercial disputes resolution.
Raghav began his professional journey working for Asia’s leading law firm, as an associate with its corporate commercial, mergers and acquisitions practice for 3 years. Thereafter, he joined chambers of a designated senior advocate, having a leading commercial disputes resolution practice in India’s capital – New Delhi, where he gained foundational exposure in handling a large volume of commercial and corporate disputes matters.
Raghav holds relevant work experience for both transactional law and disputes resolution practice before setting – up his independent chamber practice in 2016. His independent chamber practice specializes in four areas of practice namely (a) commercial transaction matters; (b) commercial disputes resolution; (c) corporate disputes resolution and insolvency; (d) corporate advisory for corporate houses and start-ups. Raghav also holds a keen interest in Intellectual Property Law and contract drafting and negotiation.

Drafted and negotiated agreements for leading tech-companies, real-estate developers, financial institutions, logistics companies, food and beverages companies, leading manufacturers in the automobile industry and others;
Drafted a broad range of legal agreements including joint venture agreements, partnership deeds, distributorship agreements, non-compete agreements, non-disclosures, and license agreements, real-estate development agreements, etc;
Conducted due diligence for companies engaged in media, cinematographic display, export-import of food products, original equipment manufacturers, etc; and
Advised companies on regulatory aspects of law for setting -up business in APAC region (esp. India).
COMMERCIAL DISPUTES RESOLUTION | ARBITRATION
Represented leading software development-companies, real-estate developers, Government Authorities and automobile companies for high stake commercial disputes based out of breach of contract before the Supreme Courts and High Courts;
Advised corporate clients on advisory for litigation including risk analysis and risk mitigation for contractual disputes;
Argued for clients before various district courts, tribunals (Debt recovery, Consumer Forum & State Commission, Competition Commission) and represented Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (SMEs) before the Facilitation Centre, for commercial disputes; and
Represented clients engaged in construction, real estate development, educational sectors in arbitration proceedings.


CORPORATE DISPUTES RESOLUTION | INSOLVENCY & BANKRUPTCY CODE
Represented domestic and cross-border clients engaged in logistics, man-power supply, suppliers for matters under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC), before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT);
Advised and represented stakeholders and key management personnel in stakeholders disputes, class action suits for Oppression & Mis-management;
Represented companies engaged in the manufacturing, financial, logistics and healthcare sectors for court sanctions for the scheme of arrangement, demerger/ mergers before the NCLT under S. 230 of Companies Act, 2013; and
Drafted, advised and represented defunct companies across different sectors for revival of such companies and carry out corporate actions under IBC.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY | CORPORATE ADVISORY
Represented the State Government for a highly contented matter for acquiring Geographical Indication (GI) Tag for ‘Basmati’ growing region, before the Intellectual Property Appellant Board, (IPAB);
Represented clients for trademarks violation disputes arising out of license agreements and unauthorized use of Intellectual Property (IP);
Successfully completed a 2 months internship with the trademarks department at the Singapore office of a boutique IP law having a strong South-East Asia (SEA) presence;
Advised leading a hotel group on the permit and regulatory approval requirements for setting-up a hotel in the State of HP; and
Advised tech start ups on day to day operations and drafted agreements including MoUs, employment agreements, strategies for risk mitigation and initiation of litigation proceedings.
